Dear Dovetail Games Team, My name is Noah, and I’m a huge fan of Train Sim World 5. First off, thank you for creating such an amazing simulator that lets players experience the world of trains in such a realistic and immersive way. I wanted to kindly suggest the addition of New York City Subway trains into Train Sim World 5. The NYC Subway is one of the most iconic and historic transit systems in the world, with a wide range of rolling stock from different eras—including classics like the R27s, R16s, and R17s, as well as modern-day trains. Including these in TSW5 would not only give players the chance to explore New York’s underground, elevated, and overground lines, but also introduce rich historical variety and unique driving challenges. There’s a big community of fans who would love to operate subway trains on famous routes like the A, F, 1, or 7 lines, traveling from deep underground to the elevated tracks of Queens and Brooklyn. The NYC Subway would make a great addition to the game—whether in timetable, scenario, or especially Free Roam Mode. It would also be amazing to include subway trains from different decades—like the 1930s, 1970s, and 1980s—so players can enjoy both modern and vintage NYC transit experiences. Thanks again for your hard work on the game, and I hope you’ll consider this idea! Sincerely, Noah
Can you guys and gals also add the R30s, R1s and R9s to Train Sim World 5 and also add all the routes too please ?
How time people gonna let you know. The MTA can not allow it as due to security issues. Too many post suggestions New York subway
As above, DTG have stated MTA will not allow any access to the network, particularly underground sections, or the trains for research purposes to replicate in game. Secondary issue now is that DTG appear to have decreed complex sub ground level stations as too difficult to make due to UE4 light baking issues.
