I’ve just bought New York - Trenton in the sale and am trying to get the achievements done before TSW3 comes off Game Pass to get my 50 rewards points.

When doing the collectables, I notice that there is no obvious way to cross the platforms at Newark Penn station. You can’t use the overpass and once you jump down onto the tracks, you can’t climb back up again.

From what i've heard, you have to go to the steps to climb up like how it was back in the tsw2020 days.

The area between NY Penn & Newark Liberty Airport was brung in from TSW1, as the route from TSW1 never got preserved, it therefore never got the treatment from preservation crew which went through each route adding in the platform climb up at any point.

you can tell it’s older mostly by lighting issues at the stations (S Junction and Newark mostly) and the water texture is very not great, despite Rivet making a water texture for WCL and IOW which could have been used.

Wow. Considering they are charging for a whole new route, you would have thought some effort would have been put in.

I can understand the decision to import that section, but it definitely should have had the new up to date features as replacements where needed.

it’s also probably how there is no rather iconic NYC skyline in the distance when crossing the bridge.
