The Newcastle to Carlisle line is never mentioned anywhere, not here or in Train Simulator. Which is crazy considering it’s the only direct East to west coast rail link in the North of England. Because it would end in Newcastle this gives game developers the chance in the future to maybe link the “Tyne Valley Line” to the “Tees Valley Line” with a quick run a few miles south on ECML metals to Darlington. Freight could run from Carlisle to Tees Yard as per in real life. Or charters from Darlington over to Carlisle with Carlisle being a destination most Charter TOCs choose for their excursions. 156s,158s,142s or 143s could be added and also used on jobs across the Pennines from Manchester to Leeds or also on the tees Valley. Back in the day 101s, 31s and 47s all worked across the Tyne Valley so former TSW assets could be used instead/ with. I think this would be a great asset to TSW as it’s not something I’ve heard mentioned on any Train Simualtor forums or anywhere for that matter! that and also consist creators
