It would be awesome to see Newcastle Central Station in all its glory and the approach over the high-level bridge with the views of the Tyne and bridges breathtaking.. Also the route goes via the Metrocentre, and off into Hadrians Wall Country through Hexham and onto Carlisle on the West Coast Mainline... So East meets West.. They have just recently got rid of pacers, also if line work is on the East Coast Mainline between Newcastle and Edinburgh they divert mainline traffic along this route all powering through the lovely countryside.
I already made a thread on this https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/tyne-valley-line.11967/ With the recent route lengths it seems likely that were this to happen, we'd only get a portion of the route, say Carlisle-Hexham or Newcastle-Haydon Bridge, but any Newcastle route is better than none
