Would it be possible in the future to have a modern timetable for the Mainz Koblenz route (yes for pc there is a mod but not for the console) because I am not exactly enthusiastic about the 103 or because N dare yes they are clear they are nice but really bad to drive so I hope that in the future the modern version of the map will come as with the BR425, 146 etc

Bring it on to the game and from what I can see 23:46 Koblenz Hbf 00:41 Mainz Hbf 01:03 Frankfurt am Main Flughafen has to be the 182 red black and yellow versions because we do not have the proper locomotive for it the 1016/1116. Considering the fact that most sleeper trains on the route is 182 Taurus locomotive. Rare situations you will need DB Baureihe 101 for it.
If the game is getting the Siemens Vectron locomotive it has to run Linke Rheinstrecke
01:12 Koblenz 02:03 Mainz Hbf 02:20 Frankfurt am Main Flughafen trip
. Let's see if the players can keep up with the 51 minutes Koblenz Hbf Mainz Hbf on the Vectron Taurus locomotive takes 55 min between those

I’d have to disagree on the 103 being ‘bad to drive’ as I think it is one of the best trains to drive in TSW so far. Using the tap changer to go up tap by tap to increase power is much more rewarding than whacking a power lever up to full or near full on a more modern train. There’s also the similarly operated 110 and the whacky cab car to further test your driving skills on the stopping services. Great fun.

Absolutely correct bonus if you have both the 1990s end the current timetable you should be able to run DB BR103 ÖBB Nightjet runs the 23:46 Koblenz 00:41 Mainz Hbf towards Vienna and Innsbruck and 01:12 Koblenz 02:03 Mainz Hbf towards Zürich Hauptbahnhof via Basel.

I'd much rather have DTG put out some loco DLC to actually complete 90s LFR instead of developing new rolling stock for an anachronistic modern timetable.

Yes, everyone has their own opinion, but I'm not such a fan of old trains

Have to agree the existence of some more retro stock would make buying this route somewhat appealing. Really not a fan of the Dosto driving or the existing 42x units on the modern German routes. I still live in hope of getting old style UIC stock in green or turquoise and cream livery to run on these routes.

I agree, it is crying out for some freight loco's. I was surprised the new German loco wasn't a period loco for the LFR.

Indeed. The optimist in me thinks that they just want to break the cycle and make sure fans of modern stuff get their share before returning to vintage content. The pessimist in me fears that LFR gets abandoned like Clinchfield.

LFR is crying out for some loco DLC! A freight loco and IR coaches are the absolute minimum it needs. :)

Good point like what what locos exactly? If you were to subscribe to train tv Berlin Linke Rheinstrecke have seen the following Einheitselok DB BR140/139 141 DB BR120 mix traffic Locomotive and is the one you would have seen on KWG when it opened in 1988 from Würzburg Hbf to Fulda.

A Br 140 preferably for freight and some of the local passenger services would be appropriate. A 150 or 151 would also fit but you’d mostly lose the versatility that the 140 brings to the table.
The Br 120 would be a nice way of adding the IR coaches (even though it would seem that the 120 only hauled ICs, not IRs, on LFR in 97).

Certainly the 140 would be the most useful Bundesbahn loco they could do, along with the 216/218

Imagine a BR 120 and the IC cab car... what a delight.

You are correct how about V90 290 294 the latter can serve hump yards like the American sector West Germany Rbf Nürnberg & München Nord Mannheim and Mainz Bischofsheim. The latter yard has access to the ammo dump Mainz Kastel.
