Next Usa Route?

    Give this post suggestions for what we would like to see

    (I personally would like an Amtrak P42DC or a Norfolk Southern route)

    If I can make a wish than CP or CN.
    But any freight route with both, loading and unloading point is my desire. HH have only load, PC unload.

    I would like to see a heavy freight route surrounded with a nice landscape.

    -Tehachapi Pass with UP and/or SP diesels (or maybe steam locos); ATSF or BNSF also.
    -NS, PRR, or Conrail on Horseshoe Curve (preferably PRR or Conrail)
    -New York Central (with Hudsons, Niagaras, and/or 4-8-2 Mohawks)
    -Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge
    -Cumbres and Toltec
    -Definitely CP and/or CN
    -Duluth, Missabe, and Iron Range
    -Milwaukee Road (maybe with electrics)
    -We really need BNSF or ATSF (Cajon, Pacific Surfliner, Tehachapi, Steven's Pass, Marias Pass, etc.).
    -Rio Grande
    -Western Pacific
    -UP Sherman Hill in the 50s (Big Boys and Challengers, plus the 4-12-2s and maybe an early diesel)
    -Norfolk and Western in the 40s and 50s (with Class A 2-6-6-4s, J-Class 4-8-4s, and Y6b 2-8-8-2s; also, maybe a K1 or K2 Mountain)

    Imagine all the possibilities. If it's Conrail, the beastly 70 and 80macs hauling coal and dash 8 and sd40 hauling freight would be my dream come true. Or in modern day with the sd40e, ET44AC, AC44C6M, and SD70ACe all hauling freight, intermodal and so much more. The clean up on their not so forgettable accidents recently could be somewhat implemented as well. If it were Pensy era, well then I'd be a kid in a candy store when it released.

    I would prefer the metro north Harlem Line southeast to grand central terminal.

    I would love a barstow to san Bernardino route. Get to drive trains through the cajon pass

    I think it is the time for route update of CSX Heavy haul and NEC.In Cumberland yard distant foliage looks very un-realistic. In NEC night lighting is absent and the streets looks like in curfew due to absence of vehicles.

    I think next route should be a heavy industry where raw materials come from main line and local personnel will deliver them to different departments.Again prepared goods from different departments may be assembled to transport to main line. It will be great to experience how it feels to work inside a heavy industry plant day and night.
