    The proposed section of this network spans approximately 114.5 miles (184.2 km). The network includes 25 passenger stations, with services running a mix of all-stop and express patterns. Key service routes include:
    • Go Transit Lakeshore East
    • Go Transit Lakeshore West
    • Via Rail Toronto – Niagara Falls (Maple Leaf)
    • Toronto - Windsor
    • Toronto - Ottawa
    • Toronto - Montreal
    There may be opportunity for limited freight services as well.

    Via Rail Corridor
    There are 4 via rail services.
    • Toronto - Niagara Falls running xx miles (xx km) stopping at a 6 stations. There are 2 services in each direction per day
    • Toronto - Windsor running xx miles (xx km) stopping at 3 stations.There are 4 services in each direction per day
    • Toronto - Ottawa stopping at 3 stations. There are 8 services in each direction per day
    • Toronto - Montreal stopping at 3 stations. There are 6 services in each direction per day

    Lakeshore East Line
    • Trains run every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 on weekends.
    • All services are all stop
    • There are 10 stations

    Lakeshore West Line
    • On weekdays, local service operates every 30 minutes east of Aldershot and every 60 minutes at West Harbour. In addition, eleven daily express trains operate during peak and off-peak periods, of which four operate between Toronto and Hamilton GO Centre, two to West Harbour, two to Aldershot, and three to Niagara Falls.
    • On weekends, local service operates every 30 minutes between Union and Aldershot, and every 60 minutes between Aldershot and West Harbour. Three express trains per day operate between Toronto and Niagara Falls.
    • There are 15 stations

    Don’t think DTG have or can get either GO or VIA licences.

    So basically you just want an extension of the existing Oakville route which is the part of this around Hamilton.
    As has been stated, DTG said they don't have the licensing for the consumer parts.
    Could add the AMTRAK bit and the CN parts are already in it.
    However, the forum was very upset it didn't have commuter runs in it, so it didn't do as well as hoped.
    It's a fair criticism in that much of the traffic in that area would be commuter stuff in real life.
    Now they could "fake it" but there's also a huge outcry against that too... so Oakville sits as it is.
    Pity because it's a really nice route, very detailed. A few bugs and not modern lighting, but so much wasted potential.
