Many people been Yearning for more American Passenger routes so lets get some NJT into the game with the Atlantic City Line, This line Spans 67.9 Miles or 109.3 Kilometers of Rails from Philadelphia 30th Street Station to Atlantic City Rail Terminal with a Maximum speed on this line Topping out at 80 MPH and 9 stations to load passengers at this route will make a Mighty fine addition to the Game and likely to satisfy the thirst for American Passenger routes, along with that I would also like to add the Small bit of the North East Corridor to New Brunswick to Add County Yard a NJT Maintenance Facility. Services: Passenger: Passenger Services begin at 4:11AM and end at 12:50AM And are Generally 1hr 12min to 1hr 58min between each departure and go To and From 30th Street Station Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Freight: After digging a bit i found out Conrail Shared Assets operate Freight along the line from Delair NJ to Winslow NJ so its Plausible we can see Layered in CSX action with the GP38-2 And SD40-2, heck maybe even a bit of NS action in there too when they get There spot in the game The Rollingstock: EMD GP40PH-2B: These units are Rebuilds of Conrail locos for NJT, Mostly Hauling Comet coaches with them these units will make a great Passenger loco for this route considering this is one of 2 passenger locos used on the Atlantic City Line, May also be used as a Switcher at County Yard, and MOW. Bombardier ALP-45DP: The other Passenger loco used on this line the ALP-45DP can run off of Both Diesel and Electricity, mostly just Diesel on this route however, like the Previous these will make a Fine addition to this route, plus the Bit of electric running from 30th street and New Brunswick is a cool opportunity to show of the Dual Power capability of this locomotive. Comet V Railcar: The Main Passenger cars of this route the Comet Vs and there cab cars will help shuttle people to and From Atlantic City and 30th street station. Plausible Layering: If anymore NJT Routes come around perhaps we can use the Locos from this route and the others on here even if only 2 locos are used by NJT here, this also applies to the Comet cars as well, Along with that a Bit o Amtrak action can come from NEC: Boston - Providence around Philadelphia as AI, maybe we can even get a few short services from new Brunswick to 30th street station. Ending: welp thats it NJT: Atlantic City Line not a Major suggestion but I feel with the Reintroduction of NEC it would be nice to get more Northeast passenger routes and something like this can do the job, Thanks for reading.
These are the same locomotives on my train simulator world suggestion the Raritan Valley Line. The exception here is that PL42AC is Banned due to excessive vibration when accelerating from stops like Cherry Hill Atco and Atlantic City. 4535 is the First EPA 2015 tier 4 locomotive for NJ Transit. What my Suggestion the Raritan Valley Line can give to Atlantic City Line is the double decker coaches Comet II IV F40PH and ALP-45DP 4535 tier 4 emissions. In return Atlantic City Line Gives my suggestion the Raritan Valley Line ALP-45DP tier 3 emissions 4501-4534 even though both routes have Comet V standard if made by DTG.
