The Pascack Valley Line is an awesome mix between suburban and urban areas. There are parts of the line that run through the woods and then you have the part of the line that’s almost looks like the train is on the street. There’s also a part of the line after Wood-Ridge but before Secaucus where you pass through the meadowlands, MetLife stadium, and the American Dream Mall. MetLife stadium is home of the 2026 World Cup. The line is a single-tracked line, with passing sidings in pearl river, NY, Hackensack, NJ, and one near East Rutherford, NJ. There are also Metro-North express services that stop at spring valley, nanuet, pearl river, Secaucus, and lastly Hoboken. Hoboken is directly across the Hudson River from lower manhattan. Service also runs very frequently, with the busiest Hoboken-bound trains in the morning on a weekday only a few minutes apart. The fastest speed on the line is 70 mph, around the Secaucus area. Comet V cars are the most used cars on this line, with the exception of MultiLevel cars being used on trains #1632 and #1617 in the afternoon.
