My mastery progress appears to have carried over from my PS4 version to the PS5 as I can see the awards in the mastery screen. However, I went to enable the hot air balloon overlay on NTP but there were no configurable overlays listed. The same is true for any other routes for which I've been awarded the bonus tiles - markets etc.
