I’ve driven the Class 166 and the Class 43 and have found that I cannot hear any engine sounds inside the cab. On the pc version you can hear the engines. Makes for a quiet ride, plus I love the sounds of a Diesel engine.
So out of interest, has anyone else noticed that there is no engine sound in the cab of the Class166 GWR?
The class 166 is very quiet, Matt says the real ones are quite well sound-proofed. If you're getting no sound at all though you might want to pop a ticket over to the support team.
