Hey, i had TSW1/2 on my main steam account and bought TSW3/4 on another account. In TSW3 i used family sharing to keep the dlcs i bought on the other account, but for TSW4 it doesnt seem to work.
Just pinging you here to say that Deluxe Edition DLC, specifically the Vectron and Flying Scotsman are still not available for Family Sharing. Is that intended?
Could you make sure you are adhering to the limitations of Steam Family Sharing, please? This is a feature implemented by Steam and not something we have any control over. https://store.steampowered.com/promotion/familysharing
Weird stuff is, that i can only play on the old TSW1/2 account now, although the addons are installed i cannot play on the TSW3/4 acc. @Staff can you help?
We are, yes. Everything else is downloadable on our end (base game, legacy DLC, etc.) like always, just not the Vectron and Flying Scotsman. Just wanted to make sure, I was already assuming it was a thing on Steam's end anyway. My guess is it might have to do with the two locos technically not being available as separate DLC yet, but my guess is as good as any. We'll find out next month. Thanks!
I hate to reply here again but apparently it broke again. After release i was able to play all my content fine, now my old account dlcs are not playable anymore. my old account has tsw1&2 and all the old dlcs. the new account has tsw3&4 and some other DLCs. i have family sharing set up correctly but it doesnt work. i also noticed tsw1&2 are blocked for family sharing now, i think it breaks the carried over tsw4 dlcs.
Doesn't look like it was disabled, I think it might be because of the new Family Sharing system Steam has introduced. I know for a fact though that if both in the family own the base game, you cannot access the game's DLCs anymore.
