I know the SD-40 in Sand Patch have flow meter working. But when releasing the brakes in Sherman Hill I get 0 flow. Even if you have a remote you will get flow until the brake has reached 90PSI. Any ideas? Also I note when in dynamic brake the independent brake creeps on. Locomotives have a system that prevents the independent brake from applying when in Dynamic. So I was surprised when I lost Dynamic on Cajon Pass and Sherman Hill.... and had to bail it off. How is it DTG's "real engineers" that play test their routes didn't pick this up???? Or is this just an Australian thing? And yes have driven real SD-40s, made in Australia.
Only some of DTG's US locomotives have working flow meters (the C40-8W is one). On the rest, sadly, they're just dummies.
