PS4 No Option To Transfer Your Tsw 5 Profile Onto Tsw 6 On Ps4

I’m having issues where you can’t import your tsw 5 profile onto tsw 6 as it’s only coming up as create a new profile on ps4

Unsure if this bug or not

It’s fixed most of the gen 8 issues but it would be cool to get my main profile on it without starting again

That doesn’t show up on the ps4 version and only asks to create a new profile

 

I've had Train Sim World since version 2, and it only allows me to export the TSW2, TSW3, and TSW4 profiles. The TSW5 profile doesn't appear.

I exported the TSW4 profile to see if it was the TSW5 profile, but the one I was playing in TSW5 doesn't appear.

I'll report this via ticket.

Just updating you, I opened a ticket and the DTG team is looking into it. This same issue occurred from TSW4 to TSW5, and it's sad to see that some errors repeat themselves with each TSW release.

Another pattern I've noticed (at least with PS4) is that if a line launched in TSW has constant crashing issues, when a new TSW is released, these crashes usually disappear. This was the case with the Dresden Riesa from TSW2 to TSW3 (although in TSW5 this route became completely unusable). It was the same with the LIRR Commuter from TSW4 to TSW5, and also in Frankfurt Fulda on TSW5 and TSW6.

This is one of the reasons I'm now opting for the Free Pack with each release, so I can get the new TSW only when another version arrives, and I still get a good discount, lol.

Good news that Blackpool branches is fixed on ps4 now loading up around Preston area after long time not working on tsw5. One big win so far

 

Yes I noticed that too but this time it is different. The last time this happened, you could press the tab key on the keyboard. If you did not have a keyboard. then you could connect (ex this means on the PS4/5 and lastly on Xbox) one.

 

I think this is also on PS5!

I play on PS5. During the five days of early access, I successfully transferred my account from TSW5 to TSW6.
Then, on the release date, I started downloading all my DLC add-ons. So, I had to do it one by one again, constantly being careful not to download the PS4 add-ons. That took quite a bit of time and attention.
A few days later, and yes, I have all my add-ons back in TSW6. During all that downloading and installing, I thought I could delete TSW5, since I'd already transferred my account.

I couldn't wait to start TSW6 again, so I didn't wait any longer and started.

The fact that I immediately landed in the main menu should have been a warning. But I didn't realize then that all my progress was lost and I had to start over at level 0.

I only realized this when I was back at level 7, so I guess there's no going back.
