I have been saving the game often until I had to restart but on resuming the saved game it disables the nest station display. How do I turn this back on?
It is a known bug running in Timetable mode, fails to restore the saved game. I have had this on all routes and it is frustrating as effectively means that run is over and you need to start again. Not sure why it occurs, sometimes you can resume the game several times, before it flips out. Hopefully it’s on DTGs roadmap to resolve as it does kind of render the ongoing nature of Timetable mode a bit moot.
Unfortunately saving and reloading is mostly broken and has been for a long time now sadly. Apart from bugging departure times you can also get signals staying red and ai trains not moving anymore. I would recommend to commit to a service and play it in one sitting. It is weird that this issue has not been addressed.
The latest addition to the list is with the 465. If you save and reload using that unit the destination display is always blank and there’s no way to get it back unless you restart the service/scenario. The save function was improved a little while back but sadly saving and reloading is still an absolute lottery and best avoided if at all possible.
