A few weeks ago, my account was hacked and now I can't acccess it to play the game. When I write down my email to recover my account, Steam says it doesn't recognize it, same for my password. What can I do? I would need to send them some kind of help ticket but I don't know how to do that.
Good luck. Account hacked? That's... very bad! The one good thing is that DLC can't be sold once purchased and stays in your account forever. So the hacker can't make money unless you have tradable items. Hope you still have your purchase confirmation emails for proving to Steam you're the rightful owner. Anyway Steam will notice when an account is being logged into from a different computer, and using 2-factor-authentication - you should get an SMS on your mobile when someone else is logging in. (Provided you have set up Steam Account protection correctly and given your phone number) Has that happened?
