There are multiple areas that have extra track and possible play space, such as the San Bardinino Line. There is the bridges that lead into the freight yard next to LA station, I am able to set a route into that area however it won't let me get passed the bridge. It stops the gameplay and states that I "reached the end of accessible area" or something like that... it's annoying bc there is so much potential to add more frieght timetables or even just mess around in that area. Another area has been in the Boston Sprinter route with the CSX locos but no frieght timetables at all and tracks do not connect. Please listen to players and add for frieght options or even give access to these areas. Whomever has more examples please add in the comments thank you.
It will not even let the switches turn to the area when I set the route (they are automatic switches) I think this is bull offcourse , cmon dovetail
The issue is those take extra dev time and it adds up. Also costs more budget. When dtg have to meet deadlines, they have to focus their resources on the important areas like the mainline. Otherwise they would either have to cut the mainline short or really rush the inaccessible areas to meet those deadlines. So they have to pick and choose.
It's a large area of inaccessible area , would be cool if you can take a freight train from Antelope Valley and hop into Los Angeles taking a train to that yard , just want to see more play for american freight
