Hi all Santa purchased my new Series S today for Christmas. I currently have an original XBox One playing Train Sim 3 of disc. Santa also wants to buy me the Train Sim4 game and it seems to be on sale at some really good prices at the moment especially through the store on the main game menu. So my question…..I’ve only ever purchased games on disc before so if I buy the new game from the store on the game will it try to download it onto my current console, I am hoping I will get a code or something that can be held somewhere for me to pull onto my new Series S on Christmas Day…I hope this makes sense, trying to get me head round all this downloadable stuff……help!!! I also heard that I can get a code from somewhere to be able to download my current Train Sim 3 routes and progress…. Thanks….. Paul
You can get it on the store now and you can download it on the new console (in your my games & apps library) once you have signed in with the purchaser's account. It may also download on Xbox One but you can just cancel that unless you want to play TSW4 on there first (progress should be synced to Xbox network). You'll have to put in a support ticket if you have routes on disc that you want to carry across to the next game.
Ok great thanks. I will purchase it but cancel the download onto my current console. I only want to play it on the new one……
