Since the players locomotive is stuck in between pieces of rolling stock, these 2 services don't show up in timetable mode, an oversight by DTG when they were making these services. Only way to access them is to either start from Part 2, or try and start them from on foot.
i was doing the put the locos in the middle of the train i thought it a bit odd driving with wagons front and rear is the to parts in the same loco or are they a different set ?
The setup is completely prototypical though, and based on photographs that Gary Dolzall sent me - and indeed if you follow what you do, it makes complete sense why its done that way and makes the switching much easier. They are selectable via the Journey, or just by continuing from part 2 of course.
This sequence really illustrated how, since being on rails means no real maneuverability, locomotives have to be designed with the flexibility to do a job in whatever way was most efficient given random starting and ending points. Running through it made my brain hurt, but in a good way. Seems like designing a large rail yard would have to have some incredibly intricate logic for the same reason.
hi there thansk for the responses does that mean then when the two locos are in the middle of the wagons do i then stay in the locos then to complete part 3 and 4 ?
okies then thank you for all your help in this i hope they list parts 3 and 4 at some point in the timetable
As I say - you can find them just fine in the journey, I made sure they were all accessible via that.
