Here is a fifth Norfolk Southern route yet to be created for Train Sim Would 2. It would go from Augusta to Charlotte. It would be set in the 2000's-present day. The route is over 191 miles and I'd go 60-75-80 miles. The NS rolling stock would include Gensets, ET44AC's, ES44AC's, ES44DC's, SD70M-2's, SD70ACE's, SD70M's, SD80MAC's, GP38-2's (both high hood and low hood), GP40X's, GP40-2's, GP50's (both high hood and low hood), GP60's, MP15DC's, SD40-2's (both high hood and low hood), SD40's, SD40-3's, SD45-2's, SD45's, SD50's, SD60's, SD60I's, SD70ACC's, AC4400CW's, SD70ACE-T4's, MP15E's, SD40E's, C44-9W's, SD60E's, AC44C6M's, C39-8's, C40-8's, C40-9W's, C40-8W's, C40-9's, SD70ACU's, SD80ACU's, GP39ECO's, C39-8E's, and B36-7's with the same freight equipment.
This seems very excessive. The locomotives you're asking for seem like a hell of a lot for this route. I live along the R Line and the locomotives that would fit the most would probably be most since is the Dash 9, SD70ACe, and an SD40.
I thought that max they could do is 60 miles which is the case with Sherman Hill but then again it does extend to about 73 miles which from what I understand is longer than Clinchfield.
