As most American railfans know the sd80mac is a 5000 horsepower beast. Now imagine that beast with an extra 500 horsepower, new brakes and electronics and a brand new cab. That beast is the sd80acu. Norfolk Southern have been storing their sd80macs in preparation of this beastly rebuild. The cab will look similar to the sd70acu's like this. Original cab: The cab will feature a isolation feature to help crew comfort. Other than the isolation feature the cabs have cab signals. Rear ditch lights are to be installed as well. Overall The reason I suggest this engine before it's even been built is because it would be a great chance for DTG to make it. It would be easier for them to see the engine in its stages of being built as they could get more detail into it. This engine could be made as a dlc alongside a Norfolk Southern route.
These monsters need to be included in an NS route, along with an NS Genset and GP60. I'd also like to see the original SD80MACs in CSX colors for the CSX Heavy Haul route.
Within a couple of years it would be great. And it's a great opportunity for DTG to make it since Norfolk Southern is still setting up the program. When there being built DTG could watch the construction of them.
Nice Proposal but honestly i'd give up asking anything from DTG because they apparently don't listen to us players on what we want, I've never seen DTG ever respond to anything anyone proposal ever !!! DTG is a joke how are they a joke simply because of one thing that's still NOT IN GAME multiplayer which was told to us player's in beta that the game will have, where because I don't see it, 3 years now since beta and still No multiplayer what a F%@#ing joke. I'm done with this game after I check out there update on Aug 12 what a Horrible Company
Good point and we can get them for TSW2 if a Canadian Pacific route was made for them. SD80MAC Norfolk Southern is an excellent addition since it can be made into UP Versions
