So with Skyhook games bringing the Norfolk Southern ES44 Heritage Unit packs to the game, I though I would make an idea to bring the SD70ACe ones to TSW as well, though I also believe if SHG does this in the future, the pack should be expanded to include regular NS SD70ACe's as well. 1st off the 10 Heritage Units that NS has painted on their ACe's. There is no licensing issues with any of these units. #1065, Savannah and Atlanta #1066 New York Central #1067 Reading Lines #1068 Erie Railroad #1069 (Nice) Virginian #1070 Wabash Railroad #1071 Jersey Central Lines #1072 Illinois Terminal #1073 Penn Central #1074 Lackawanna Railroad EMD SD70ACe http://www.nsdash9.com/rosters/1000.html So, to make this pack a bit more enticing and more than just a skin pack, it should include NS's regular roster of SD70ACe's. NS has a total of 175 from their 2 original orders, numbered 1000 to 1174. This also incudes the "Barcode" unit #1111. Norfolk Southern's SD70ACe's are equipped with a high headlight, ISO cab, and of course their rear facing ditchlights, so all the modifications would need to be made to DTG's Ace model to reflect these. (I think they are all also equipped with E-bells) EMD SD70IAC http://www.nsdash9.com/rosters/1175.html#2022SD70IAC In the late 2010's and early 2020's, Norfolk Southern acquired 60 more SD70ACe's, the units are equipped with Individual Axle Control (or IAC) so are designated as SD70IAC by the NS. These units are numbered #1175-1234 I feel like if SHG gives HSC its TOD4 upgrade, makes this pack with both regular and heritage units, and gives a good about of services for timetable mode and not odd bugs or glitches, then it should be a solid small loco pack.
The Conrail unit would most likely only come as a patch to the ES44 pack that came out if the licensing is ever resolved.
The idea of having regular NS SD70s, and the heritage units would be great! It can get quite boring having just two locomotives, especially considering the GP38 has barley any services. Once we got the SD70 for Cajon Pass, it really helped fix that problem! And having the SD70IAC would be really cool!
1067 needs a licence from the Reading Theatre group due to them being a survivor of the Railroad Collapse 1073 Licence from American Premier Underwriters insurance which is actually part of the former Penn Central Railroad and survived the collapse of that railroad. That same company was mentioned by Matt on a Stream
