The North Clyde Line operates from Edinburgh Waverley and Springburn/Cumbernauld to Helensburgh Central, Balloch and Milngavie. In case you didn’t know the stations include:
Edinburgh Waverley, Edinburgh Haymarket, Edinburgh Park, Uphall, Livingston North, Bathgate, Armadale, Blackridge, Caldercruix, Drumgelloch, Airdrie, Coatdyke, Coatbridge Sunnyside, Blairhill, Easterhouse, Garrowhill, Shettleston, Carntyne, Cumbernauld, Greenfaulds, Gartcosh, Stepps, Springburn, Barnhill, Alexandra Parade, Duke Street, Bellgrove, High Street (Glasgow), Glasgow Queen Street Low Level, Charing Cross, Partick, Hyndland, Anniesland, Westerton, Bearsden, Hillfoot, Milngavie, Drumchappel, Drumry, Singer, Jordanhill, Scotstounhill, Garsgadden, Yoker, Clydebank, Dalmuir, Kilpatrick, Bowling, Dumbarton East, Dumbarton Central, Dalreoch, Cardross, Craigendoran, Helensburgh Central, Renton, Alexandria, and Balloch.
This line uses 3 train classes with one having two subclasses. The line uses, the class 320 upload_2022-4-12_15-22-35.jpeg upload_2022-4-12_15-23-25.jpeg
The class 320/3 was constructed by BREL in 1990 for Strathclyde Transport, it had a top speed of 75 mph but in 2010/2011 this was bumped up to 90. It has been in service from 1990 until the present day and can be seen operating with class 318’s and other class 320’s.
The class 320/4 was constructed as class 321/4’s between 1988 and 1991 and have a top speed of 100 mph and the class 321/4’s from London Midland we’re converted to class 320/4’s, one of the middle coaches of them were removed and they still maintained the London Midland livery, however the ScotRail “Saltire” livery was carried out then all, and they still operate on ScotRail to this day.
    The class 318 upload_2022-4-12_15-43-51.jpeg
The Class 318 was constructed by BREL between 1985 and 1986 for Strathclyde Transport and is currently the oldest EMU operating in Scotland and when it was first introduced it looked like this upload_2022-4-12_15-50-6.jpeg until 2005, when it was refurbished to look how it looks today.
    The Class 334 upload_2022-4-12_15-52-21.jpeg
The class 334 was constructed by Alstom between 1999 and 2002 and entered service in 2001, the class 334 is a juniper, similar to the class 458 and 460, it operates longer distance services, from Helensburgh Central to Edinburgh Waverley mostly, it does however operate shorter services sometimes e•g Edinburgh Waverley to Bathgate or Milngavie to Springburn/Cumbernauld.

The class 320 and 318 operate all services except the services beyond Airdrie, the class 334 often operates Helensburgh Central to Edinburgh Waverley/Bathgate and sometimes Edinburgh Waverley to Bathgate. It operates services to Cumbernauld/Springburn and it doesn’t usually but still sometimes does operate services from Balloch to Airdrie. And while I am saying trains operate to Cumbernauld, they now all terminate at Springburn (this is for trainsimplayer because I know he will correct me if I don’t mention this)
The class 320 and 318 operate ECS moves to and from Bathgate depot though alongside the class 334 but that is the only time you will see a 318 or 320 operating
    beyond Airdrie

North Clyde Line's a great route - practically a bigger, better Cathcart. I also suggested it a while pack, it'd be great to see.
Gotta keep the ScotRail info accurate ;)
