We have had no welsh routes before and I feel the Welsh mainline to holyhead isn't too much to ask for as it is around 73 miles and dtg currently has the rights to avanti west coast so all they would need is to get the rights to transport for Wales and we could be riding class 220s, class 175s and class 150s through the Welsh countryside in no time at all. Thank you for taking this into consideration.

The classic diesels could layer in nicely too. Who wouldn’t want to take a Class 40 or 47 from Chester to Holyhead.

yes.. I suggested this for TSW2.. I would love it if it included either the branch from Llandudno Jn to Llandudno or the Conwy Valley Line (Llandudno Jn to Bleanu Ffestiniog) or both..

maybe even holyhead to crewe only adds roughly 15 miles and it isnt unheard of to have a rout over 90 miles. thank you for the support tho im sure it would be a great route

DTG already has the rights for TfW but that might only apply to TSC as the NWC route was re-released earlier this year with both Avanti and TfW branding. The same rights may apply to Avanti also as TSC has 2 routes with Avanti branding (WCML South and NWC).

    I wouldn’t bet on it…

As regards era, well to avoid licensing issues just set it in the early to mid 90’s, i.e. pre privatisation so you can get Sprinters along there in Regional Railways BR livery but those of us who also enjoy running classic stock can do so without looking out of place.

i think there are too many 80s/90s routes i think people underestimate how good it would look modern especially with getting new trains we dont currently have. 80s/90s era wouldnt bring any new stock it would just be recycled fromm NTP and TVL

I'd love a Welsh route either the one from Holyhead to Crewe or the one from Aberystwyth to Birmingham, which could also be useful if they're already planning a WCML involving Birmingham New Street as it'd allow Birmingham to become a link between the two
