Loco Northern Class 195 For Glossop Line

    Introduced to service in 2019, the Class 195s are a fleet of 58 units, with 25 2 car units and 33 3 car units. They also have a top speed of 100mph. upload_2024-11-29_23-19-20.jpeg

    What would the units be doing on this route?
    Around 100 extra player services on services to Rose Hill Marple, New Mills Central and Chinley as well as certain ECS services to/from Newton Heath (reverse at Ashburys).
    AI services from Windermere/Barrow to Manchester Airport and vice versa, as well as AI services to Sheffield (excluding 0640 departure which calls at Ashburys).

    In total, the unit would add over 170 services to the route which I believe makes it a worthwhile addition to the game, as well as the potential for use on future routes such as Alan Thomson's upcoming Manchester Commuter Network route.

    Where would the players be able to drive them between in the map?

    Love to see these trains in the game. 331's would be good too. :)

    The 195s run on the route between Manchester Piccadilly and Ashburys/Hyde North depending on whether it's a New Mills, Chinley, Sheffield or Rose Hill Marple service.

    I doubt DTG would develop a 195 for Glossop, too expensive. They would need to come with a new route.
    Same as the Voyager, too costly to make as a standalone, would need to come with a route.

    This train would be a good choice for the ATS route, as i know it can be found on this route quite often. You can drive the whole route with them.

    Something I'd like to see. We need it for the ATS route it would fit so well.
