Northern Pacific - Route Of The North Coast Limited

    Northern Pacific was a main competitors along with Great Northern and Chicago Milwaukee & St. Paul in transporting goods and people from Chicago to the Northwest. Known as "the main street of the northwest" They boasted superior services for both passenger and freight along some of the Northwest's most scenic routes.

    Segments of the route that (I feel) would translate best to a Train Simulator route add-on would be sections such as the Tacoma terminus to Yakima or Pasco going over Stampede Pass and through the Yakima Valley, Spokane through Idaho to Helena/Butte or maybe even Bozeman, or possibly St. Paul to Fargo for an area we've yet to see much of in Train Simulator so far.

    NP featured a number of attractive liveries to be modeled.

    The famous "Pine Tree" scheme, in both passenger and freight variants:

    this railroad is going to be hard for licenseing. BNSF and all.

    I would love a NP route, but like andrew.umlauft1 said, there is the BNSF licensing to contend with.
