PlayStation Not Happy

    I want something done about this. I'm actually raging right now btw!!! Went to go for a look about the training centre. All I did was try to set some custom weather which then kicked me out the game with a system error. When I came back on I had a message saying that my data was now corrupted. I've spent HOURS playing this game and now it has reset me back to level 1. Have all of my DLC and seemingly my liveries, also still have my own scenarios. Is there a solution to this because otherwise I wll just shelve the game and any plans for future content tbh.

    Twice actually and when somebody from DTG JD (other DTG's are available) wants to acknowledge this then maybe I won't need to post it again. Anyway, what is your point exactly?

    You've already tagged them twice. Just cuz you don't get a response immediately doesn't mean you have to post more than once. It's also a 3 day weekend so they aren't really going to respond so they can get the rest they need. So just wait until you get a response rather than 'demanding' something. At least that's what it sounds like to me.

    Maybe so but when you spend a not inconsiderable sum of money on something and it screws up in such a catastrophic way then you're entitled to be a bit miffed surely, and besides, who made you God?

    JD or any of the community team aren’t going to be able to help you anyway. They are likely to suggest that you raise a ticket. So If you haven’t already done so, I’d suggest doing that.

    Hi I thought I’d add a little comment to this because I feel your frustration and I suppose the right thing to do like already mentioned is to raise a ticket. But and this is only from my experience and probably how I dealt with but I felt like I was going be going around in circles with it all and that not good for me on a personal level. For example and I don’t want people to feel I am moaning I’m just try to convey how I felt and why AndyScotland is reacting the way he is and what we probably all know is the problem without going into this and that. Now we all know that over different platforms the game has issues. And when I say issues those issues or an issues that important to them the individual user. Admittedly some people request or complaining does seem a little out of line on what to expect from DTG as I have said to them in the past and sometime it’s just a basic misunderstanding on how it all work rather than it being anything to do with DTG. But this is where I feel people are getting annoyed and frustrated because some of the issue are old and yet still not fixed and yet we see more and more new content. Now I know with this there is so many variables to consider and again I don’t want to go down that route as I see all this from a consumer point of view and that’s it. People will always get aggravated when it comes to money and what they receive once handing over that money. It’s as simple as that from my prospective. Because like I say I am not here to nit pick or even want to bad mouth DTG as I do love the game and the fact I love creators club should suggest I like what DTG do but over time and some people may be with me when I say this, people will lose faith in a product over time if nothing gets done. And that’s what’s I feel is Important to us the customer. That’s what we are because the game may take some working out but most are not here to work out or work around issues they just want to buy a game play it and not have to worry about save space crashes missing decals missing trophies the list could go on. Yet in saying all that some people enjoy all that which is fine people can do what they like. But what about the people that have faith in buying from DTG hoping to just play it to then be faced with a number of issues that again are not old,,it just adds to what I feel is something not working in DTG favour. Remember one happy person may tell one but a unhappy person may tell 100s. So I guess when DTG are pumping out new content which is fine DTG has to make money it’s a company at the end of the day but surly that company has a responsibility to release games with out all these issues first because it will eventually lead to what where talking about now. And you don’t have to go far to see the scale of the problem. So again we all have our individual problems with the game some warrantied some not. Ie my issues with DTG was that I based my choice of what DLC I bought based on the loco and the decals offered in the masters and that’s my right as a consumer to expect what I pay for. Now if that product has issues that are important to me who as the right to tell me that it isn’t because it’s not something DTG feels is effecting other users or player usages. What?. I make liveries all day long post them up behind a pay wall that you get the money for and yet you simply can’t fix SofS decals for me a customer that bought your product with your name on it. And it doesn’t help when it feel like you rubbing the salt in the wounds when somethings still haven’t been fixed but you glam up new products before launching. This is why I have held of on buying new products because I said twice to myself I wouldn’t buy anymore from fear of it not doing what I paid for. Again I bought CaneCreek for the loco so I could do Union Pacific’s but when trying to make a livery all the layers mix so can’t make anything. Now how long has it been out?. Its something I bought and yet months down the line it still don’t work so what gives me the faith in buying more if something is wrong DTG then are aware but still nothing gets done. So yes many problems are around important to individual users but we are at the end of a day just a consumer and if that product has faults that are not unreasonable then surly they should be fixed no questions asked. When they say it’s about users satisfaction yet does it sound like I am happy when I simply can’t get a problem fixed with a faulty product yet again I do what I do they probably make all the money from it and what am I left with. Nothing but a faulty product that make me feel sick when I feel the way I do. I don’t even play the game any more much I only try and do things for the community on CC but I lose faith when I’m feeling miss treated by DTG because my issues haven’t been fixed. All because they think it’s not important to them. So yes we all have our frustrations but keeping it simple and not going around and around is the only way it will get fixed. By the Developers who make the games. Not the customers. Unhappy customer will result in negative comments but we can’t go around telling people what’s Important if hours of work has gone missing money spent on a product you thought you be using over time only to give up on. It’s for DTG to sort out and if not and the user base goes down hill and then go bust that’s nothing to do with me. I’m just a customer not the director of DTG. So please DTG take the bull by the horns admit to product issues there is no same in that because looking over comments there are people wanting to assist to make the game they want. Work with them not brush it under the carpet. Work with your fans even those that may seem negative. Those are just crying out of frustration to be heard. Why because money has been spent and they feel cheated. Simple as that. I write all this at the risk of damage to my own reputation as again I produce work for CC and I have pride in what I do so by writing this I feel I’m putting that reputation at risk by sounding like a constant moaner and I may agree but it’s just passion for what I love and I will always try stand up for what is right. Even if it drains me,,,I will fight and for those that whom I feel are wrongly treated. But I will not hurl insults or foul language or get into stupid arguments,,I’m to old for all that. I will simply explain what I feel is the stem of all this and what I want to be fixed from a customer point of view because I’m not a computer wizz I hardly understand how this site works so this is why I keep out telling DTG what to do. I just want what I paid for like every body else that not a lot to ask for is it?.

    Sorry you've been driven to write such a passionate response about something that is not working. Can I check within your message what you're reporting as an issue, please? If so, I can log it within our system for the team to take a look at.

    We have to prioritise improvements based on many different factors, but if it's in our system we can then investigate.
