Hi all. Just finished making the gwr rainbow livery and when I go to load it into the game it showing an incomplete version of the livery. I have gone into the creation just to make sure I hadn't saved it but it's complete in the creation club. Please help
Hi I’m having a few issues with transfers from PS4 to PS5 all DLC is available but no save or liveries. But on downloading a copy from creator club it’s not showing up completely or with nothing on it at all. Sound like we in same boat,,so I’ll help out if I can mate. What console you? Or systems are you using..? As I know there are a few issue currently with X Box and Steam so maybe this is in some way having an effect on you. And if your new to the franchise you ll need to prepare for things like this when buying anything from DTG. Yes it’s not always there fault mate but still we users have to go through the stress. So again I’ll try help mate just give us a little more information on what actual steps you have took.
Hi, I'm on ps5, I am having the same issue with saved liveries, some are fine but some I have to re do. Some aren't even in tsw4.
This problem applies to all of us. Funnily enough I have just removed a Pride CL158 from the current scenario I am building because the rainbow and some other bits weren't displaying properly. Then, before that, I had to remove another CL158 because the livery text was incomplete. Creators Club and liveries seem to still be a big issue for which we are still waiting for a DTG fix. (There are several other threads on this subject).
Hi Guys just to give ya some info on where I am up to with my work. You guys probably know ya stuff but at the mo,,,nothing from TSW3 is working with TSW4 in regards to liveries as I done a reversal and done a SD70ACe to take advantage of the decals so it shows up for me completely on TSW4 but looking at the numbers and still need do my own test it won’t show for users that downloaded it I am assuming. So I guess we all In the same boat as Spikeyorks (DJ) mentioned with old DLCs liveries. I’ll check some stuff out mate. And if ya looking for something with new DLCs atm so ya can crack on I’ll try do one if ya need out for scenarios as I make liveries and be a pleasure to provide something that you can make use of now rather than waiting. My work is under (TSLP) no brackets lol. As it’s a shame that as a creator my hands are tied with only having limited locos that will take advantage of the new limits. Anything that’s needed now on old DLC front will be done from TSW3 on PS5 and new stuff and rebuilds on TSW4. But again that limits users on what new and what can be done by creators like ourselves. And plus I’ve just noticed theses comments but I’m here to see if users or even commentators here could agree with more styles of finish on the paint work if that can be done. Ie Gloss,,Matts,,etc. I’ll post a little thread or something but yes,,,right now I could do with some gloss finish,,,as it will effect the shade of the paints. But small things first we need old DLCs to work before we can work on them.
Are you doing testing for colours as I found when I go directly from CC to drive say the livery is incomplete so you need to close the game down and just go back into driving the train on track first then all decals will show. But you must close the game down first. Plus as a bonus if you start the game and go directly to CC editor then the camera frequently freezes but this time it will not if you follow these steps. Making a livery and testing colours or driving it for first time,,,(Decals missing etc). Step 1, Close the game down after you leave creators club. Step 2, Re start the game and go directly to a route and choose the loco ya want. (The decals will show) Step 3, If work need to be done on said loco then return to Editing and the loco will be complete still and the camera will pan too with L3 if using PS controller. Repeat steps if you face the same problem as if it’s a save of say 20 mins old it may not show but if ya been working for say 3 hours those decals will show on first test on route. Plus Saving twice and then saving and leaving by the menu also helps with this issue. It’s a pain and why it’s taking me about 25 hours or more for testing etc before a livery is released. If ya need anymore help let us now mate. Hope the information helps you out. And this is for all DLCs on TSW4 be that a new 801 or an old SD70ACe SMH DLC with missing decals after making them. They do show for you but anything on older DLCs will not if you place them on CC from TSW4. As TSLP148 is a prime example. SD70ACe SMH DLC worked on TSW4 shows for me but not for users. Sorry just trying to give you some information so ya don’t waste time. And again give us a shout if I can assist anymore.
View attachment 134177 View attachment 134178 Even though the lack of brackets is very concerning I thought I would check out TSLP liveries and, as a result, I now have a new AI service at the beginning of my scenario. (Although, I am still confused as to why customised weather isn't working properly with this scenario. Sadly, adding a Tornado didn't help with that). Great livery which adds a nice bit of variety to the scenario (especially as I added the Pullman cars to the rake too). I'll now see if I can get Scotsman running the other way although, with 40 services already, it is quite a busy scenario. Thanks Mr Rigsby. Regards, David.
Hi,,,Don’t,,I know my English ain’t to good it’s and seems to be getting worse in my old age. But what you have done has given me great satisfaction as I work hard to create these for users,,and as I am not great with history of set ups etc its great to see when users like your self do use them and make scenarios that bolster the community choice on what’s on offer. It amazes me on what you guys do to achieve the level of quality in scenarios,,,so when I can help or be part of that then it makes it worth all the while. So again thank you using my work,,. You may be interested in “Tornado” in Blue with Lion and Wheel logo as that’s in storage ready for use and being built up is 60078 “Night Hawk” but I am holding back as to gain more accurate information as not much seems to be around and for what era to place it. So again as there are unpublished then maybe I could adapt them for what ever use you feel fit if you have use for them or think what era they would be better placed especially with 60078 “Night Hawk”. As like I say I make them for users like your good self and if I can assist in giving you the loco or user they need then it also provides me with work doing what I love. I have always wanted to partner up with someone that makes rolling stock as I really don’t have the confidence due to lack of knowledge on classifications of rolling stock etc. I don’t have the time either so I ask myself do others have the time to say be doing all 3 things,,Locos,,,Rolling stock and then scenarios?,,, could I lighten there load?. For I know there are many out there with vast knowledge on railway history,,I know I’m a little fish in a big pond but as a community maybe that information can be shared so gives user the chance to share their knowledge and passion for what they love and would help me do what I love so potential provide livery’s what the community wants to see so we all sharing the same passion. As I am finding what started out as me simply making liveries because I’ve always been in to drawings and designing,,,has now turned into a full time hobby spending hours watching and reading up on past railways like southern region etc,,,different name plate colours you name it,,,I’ve even been thinking of contacting Hornby as they have inside information on records some could only dream of seeing,,,as again to gain knowledge I’ve been joining model forums like RMweb. So yes I’m going on now but as you can see I really want to provide great detail with correct accuracy on locos etc,,I love making the liveries I just struggle slight on back ground knowledge so if anyone can help me in any manner to achieve my goals and continue my passion,,then as always I’d appreciate the feedback Thank you so much David. Hope to speak again. Lee. (TSLP)
