Not Sure Where This Issue Contains To. Dresden - Riesa, Substitution, Dispatcher Or Br 218

So instead of posting it in all the release threads for the dlc and another thread in the general conversation one for visibility. I'll just contain it here.

I drove the car train from Röderau to Dresden today. the 11:43 service that is right behind another freight train. the simulation said it'd take me 30 minutes to complete. but for a slightly realistic DB experience. it took me just over an hour, why? well get ready for an explanation of the most real timetable service I ever played.

The trip was normal going over the high speed line until I ended at the Coswig junction at a red light at around 12:00. as the track to my right did not have a green I looked on the map to see what the commotion was about as normally it is full green until Dresden Hbf.

Looking at the map revealed a big mess. from there to Dresden Neustadt there was a complete pileup. caused by what looked like a Dosto service in Neustadt.


I decided to take the 8 cam and see what's up. on my way looking at all the loco's. it became very clear after one 187 that indeed substitution, even with having a lot of liveries for those trains installed. had a clear favorite. one 187, a 143, a DB 185 and 7 MRCE 185's. no liveries at all. But the culprit was this 218 being completely stuck for some reason. after deleting it the IC was unable to enter Dresden Hbf because those switches were blocked by a multitude of freight trains trying to leave Hbf as the inbound trains were given priority over the bridge to Dresden mitte.

After removing the faulty 218 and two more freight trains to let the IC and the RB 15 from coswig go into the station it seemed to have fixed itself. the 218 being the cause of the blockade. but some protection of switches might be smart for if the dispatcher ever gets an update.
