Interesting that Soho EMU depot is listed as one of the spawn points for Cross-City in the Autotesting section even though DTG JD tentatively confirmed as not being present on the route?

Could we have some info on the Dovetail Live problems? (specific: showing other peoples screenshots, runs not counting for mastery or getting registered in driver's logbook)

Lots of exciting news. Expanding to china is very exciting. I can’t wait to hear more about the new us route. I hope the code breakers start guessing soon. I really like the level of effort put into making the Birmingham route more authentic.

please lord let the us route be modern nec from nyc to dc or as far south as y’all can go.

In the new upcoming updates for TSW3, will EOT MOVE Indicator finally behave correctly when there's a rear facing DPU engine at the bottom of the train? (Cajon Pass ES44C4)

Any news on the timetable for the new Birmingham route? Such as if all the services originating in Lichfield terminate at Bromsgrove, or if they alternate and also terminate at Redditch?

Hopefully a case of under-promise over-deliver. JD might not have been aware and said no to avoid disappointment. Fingers crossed anyway.

Would it be possible to receive confirmation on whether the team are aware/fixing the PIS bugs across the TSW3 core routes in SEHX and KWG? They can be very immersion breaking for certain players, and it would be very nice to see them fixed! Here’s a list of some of the issues..

    - AI trains not showing any destinations on their destination screen
    - Off-map destinations not showing correctly
    - Final destination names not showing correctly
    - PIS display screens only showing one row of information
    - Unrealistic text on scrolling display boards
    - Incorrect destination font on the Class 375 and 465

I do understand that these bugs are not game-breaking, and therefore are probably very low priority, but as stated previously, they can be a real annoyance for quite a few players.

We have been told the TSW3 audio quality issue on Xbox (not present in TSW2) is in the queue for fixing. As this affects about a third of all players, will it eventually appear on the roadmap?

    Thanks in advance

Judging by the route code, the new us route is ac electric post 2011, which means it is almost certainly a modern day passenger route.

Unless I’m getting the question wrong, it has been confirmed that the route extends to both Bromsgrove and Redditch. So for all the Alvechurch station fans out there, you’re in luck.

I know the new route will serve both Redditch and Bromsgrove, what I mean is what are the services/calling patterns going to be

This is a good flag - it's something we're aware of, but as far as I'm aware no active development is happening at the moment. In early investigation.

How much longer do we have to wait until add on manager? How big is the new route if it's too big no point in buying it until manager is released

It also means it’s almost certainly some part of the nec or close to it. So anywhere north south between dc and Boston or east west from Philly to Harrisburg. That puts Amtrak njt septa Marc or metro north in play. It could be any septa or njt line off the main line ie coast line or old mainline out of Hoboken

Can't really give you a timeframe other than what we mention in the Roadmap, I'm afraid. All I can say is the team are working on it as a priority.

Will the announced DB BR 420 add on for Munchen-Augsburg add services to the unused stations towards the Augsburg end of the route which don't have a timetabled service?

I have feedback relating to the summary image in the first post. I find that very hard to read. The block capitals in that fake computer font are not very readable at all. As a good format for summaries it would be better (and more accessible) if it was in a normal font that is clearer and easier to read.

    Deep breath, here goes.

Re BCC, please confirm whether or not Soho included?
Are the Walsall services in as AI or driveable?
How much is the route going to cost for existing TSW3 owners? (Rumours of £29.99 across the board abound).
Are there freight services and banking up the Lickey?
Why was the opportunity not taken to expand on the route as presented in TSC and go to Walsall, Wolverhampton and Coventry provide a fuller network?
Are there copious locations and paths for player scenarios? Can we get access to the actual spawn and takeout portals?

    AOB
Where are the fixes to steam physics and AI SPAD's on Spirit Of Steam. Route largely unplayable in its current state.
SoS increasingly looking like another "burner" project, any plans for additional loco and rolling stock packs?
Many Journey scenarios or runs are still broken - Chopper and Change on TVL as an example, why are these not being given priority.
Peninsula Corridor propensity for CTD in South SF area, where does that stand re fixes?
    Where is Scenario Planner 2.0?

Q: Are you aware of the issue where no custom liveries show up on AI or static stock/wagons on CJP? Is this a bug, or were the liveries intentionally left out? If it is a bug, can we expect a fix? If it is intentional, is it expected to be added at some point? Also, is there any plan to add custom livery functionality to the wagons in SEHS in timetable mode? Xbox Series S

will there be many services on the timetable other than mainline runs? Ie yard moves stage trains put trains in the yard?

I think this will probably be better explained in the article coming out next week than we'll be able to do justice to tonight. That's being compiled and written up as we speak.

(not deflecting the question, but would rather have it all written up and confirmed as that's probably more useful for everyone).

This is my main concern about this route as well.
It looks to me that it will feel somewhat empty (like Cathcart).

New street station will definitely be empty. The most we will probably see is a north and southbound train at new street. In TSC classic the route came with a second loco which was the 350. We are not getting that so It is what it is. Maybe in the future

Not exactly why I asked. It looks like the route spans from one terminus to the other. It’s more fun to have yarding the train staging the train and terminal moves intermixed with take the x time train to y station

If you are referring to freight, if the line is as described there are no yards or terminals en route other than the RHTT depot at Kings Norton. The majority of freight will run between Bromsgrove and Kings Norton or vv as it takes another route around Birmingham (Camp Hill Line). so scope very limited.

No not freight. I assume the trains don’t stay in the station between runs. I don’t know the railroad either I could be wrong

Most UK rolling stick is intensively utilised, there are a vouple of locations where trains might stable out of service but we don't know if the main depot is even included.

Is Union Workshop confirmed to launch China route for tsw3? Because they announced on Chinese social media that it will launch Asian routes (not 100% Chinese routes).

I suspect for their first route, a rural branch line would be better to cut their teeth on, or a non high speed main line. Something like the route through the Seikan Tunnel would be good - the BVE version was nice if a little devoid of scenery. Or maybe something semi high speed like the Hokuhoku line that was in Densha de Go. A straight out Shinkansen would take a great deal of work to produce the length required to do it justice, not to mention as with the other high speed stuff in TSW it becomes a monotonous semi autopilot A to B experience.

Agree, there's so many lovely mountain lines in Japan which would be far more interesting then a high-speed whizz through tunnels.

The Hisatsu Line which featured in the original MSTS is one of my highlights of my trip to Japan
