November Roadmap

What date will it be published

 

Sometime next week i believe. This week is the mbta commuter stream so there is no roadmap

 

Two weeks or so

 

12th of November.

 

Okay this is what we know, from the roadmap and the official forum posts.
WCML
Wcml getting unspecified scenery improvements and timetable .That's official.
Still waiting for 350 and 72 suspension update,350 needing reworked physics before implementation.
Lnwr branding officially dead, question answered on previous road map live.
Gaps in some of the timetable possibly intended for skyhooks cargo v3v4.The current 66 timetable is a place holder?
Manchester airport
Expected before Christmas,not on any social platforms except this one.So new screenshots or news unless they appear here or other forum members post over to here. Anyone with screenshots or news please post here .Very excited for the airport run personally,if the timetable is good it'll be great fun.
Fife Circle
Route extension,bug fixes and Skyhooks 158 with a new paint Don't know if it'll be Pre Christmas, can't find an official release date.
Peak forest
No news, hopefully hear more soon because; it's good route in need of a busy passenger and freight timetable.
Athena
Remodeling of class 47 and a number of coaches.Ecml rail tour.Gone quiet, probably busy finishing up.
Likely use suspension currently available on other previously released content.
GWE remaster
Expected after Christmas,no official release date yet.
Manchester and JT WCML are day one for me.
Manchester airport, fingers crossed it arrive before Christmas though, looking forward to this as much as it's West Coast.
Can't stretch a pound so it'll be New year for anything else.

 

and the week after that, is the preview stream for WCML Preston - Carlisle.. So might not actually be until the week beginning November 18th but THAT week is the week that WCML P-C releases

 

Remember there's 2 possible days for a roadmap (Tuesday and Thursday).

 

What is this poll for if only DTG know the anwser?

 

Really hope more stuff on the levenmouth rail link gets announced

Like to see something more tangile on Tadami (train screenshots perhaps) and the Class 104 (something more than the greyscale image from the 3D modelling editor).

A timescale for Cardiff City and maybe a hint at what train(s) it will use also appreciated.

 

Skyhooks 158 E2G timetable also getting an enhancement/overhaul as well according to the last roadmap. I'm gonna guess that will come out at same time as the Fife update along with Scotrail 158 bug fixes ...

 

Last month's Roadmap was a bit lackluster with development updates so I hope this month's has a lot more updates.
Would absolutely love a update on both the 104 and the GWE remaster aswell as an update of the Tadami Line. Being DTG, it's pretty obvious Cardiff will have Transport for Wales branding and include the BR Class 197 and only the 197 with the possibilty that the 66 also makes an apperance

 

As much as I and others would love a 197, the class 197 doesn’t run on the Cardiff city lines and also it had DMUs Plural so it’ll likely be a 150/153

 

TBH I didn't know that. It'd be nice to get a proper 150/2 in TSW as well as a 153 although if the train is going to be a 150/2, I hope DTG don't recycle Rivet's 150/2 model from WCL

 

What's the prize for the correct answer here?

 

I'm not exactly a 150 connoisseur but the model itself is fine imo (seats and headlights would need to be swapped). It's the sounds and physics that's wrong.

 

If they do reuse the Rivet 150, nothing short of a complete sound and physics rework will be acceptable.

 

Hopefully date for Leven branch will be confirmed along with general Fife Circle improvements……yes I know but I can hope.

 

Would be nice if the next german dlc could include some.. or preferably all.. of the Rhein-Neckar S-bahn 425s in this list

 

Hope we get a date for ats route or even more details

 

The roadmap doesn't change much from month to month. I think it's time to extend the roadmap and release it every three months.

 

If its not on the roadmap

Agree. The last few have been somewhat bland and uninspiring particularly as quite a few items seem to have slipped into the, "Well we don't know when or even if this will ever be released", category.

Just read the Class 350 will sport 8 and 12 car consists when the updated timetable gets it's release on WCML.
Really good to read.

 

Will the roadmap be released next Tuesday? I know this has probably already been said I just want someone to clarify for me.

 

i would prefer some technical/performance updates too thats one of the most problems with TSW.

It was on the Discord apparently, they're aiming for a date next week.
Probably get official forum notice when they're back to work Monday.

 

The roadmap will most likely be posted on Tuesday as DTG like to do Roadmap live stream on YouTube at 7pm (UK) on the same day and Thursday has been booked to be the Over Shap preview stream

Special liveries? I recall DTG or any dev doing those. like the Railbows and stuff. each livery is a paid dlc though so, I see more chance in the Creators club stuff.

This is going to be fun. Here in the east coast of the US, the Roadmap stream will be just after MBTA is released. I want to tuck right into that route so Roadmap will wait and watch delayed.

 

Personally I’d say monthly is just fine. Not too long but not too short between each Roadmap.

 

Or change it from every three weeks on the second last week of the month

 

Monthly is fine, not too much nor too little.

Although they could maybe skip a month if there's nothing significant to talk about.

 

What time will the roadmap be

 

Usually posts between 4pm and 5pm UK time, with the stream at 7pm UK time

 

If this one is as bland as the last two, I would definitely favour a move to bi-monthly or even quarterly, with anything significant in the meantime just getting its own announcement.

 

Yup, the info restriction is making them pointless, not much point in having a monthly digest of ‘new German route’.

Move it to 3 monthly & give us something to chew on with it.

 

I just pray that this one this month has something cool or substantial to show otherwise another month or more of waiting....

 

Amen to that.

Long gone are the days when the Roadmap was entertaining as well as informative. That was largely down to presenters with personality and persistence like Sam and Natalie.

These days, there's no critical discussion and " uncomfortable " questions are ignored. And information is fed to players in a tightly controlled drip feed.

 

As I am writing this, it is approximately 2 hours until the roadmap, here’s some things which I think will be in for this month.



- More Information on the ATS route (new screenshots etc)
- the TSG route reveal.
- more Leven branch dev screenshots?
- maybe even the rolling stock reveal for Cardiff City
- JT Loco teaser/reveal.


These are all possible for this roadmap.
