I would like to see another Norfolk Southern route, especially the Chicago Line. This part of the Chicago Line is a 105 mile route between Chicago, Illinois and Elkhart, Indiana. The route begins at MP CD 520.8 in Chicago and ends in Elkhart at MP CD 415. West of 520.8, the Amtrak Maintenance Mile begins and heads directly to Union Station. As it heads east, it encounters a lot of steel mills near Porter, like ArcellorMittal in Burns Harbor, Indiana and USSC Gary Works, in Gary Indiana. This route also handles a lot of intermodal traffic between Chicago and New York. The Amtrak Capitol Limited and Lake Shore Limited follow the line all the way to Elkhart while the Wolverine, Pere Marquette, and Blue Water diverge off the Chicago Line at Porter. Also, the Chicago South Shore and South Bend (CSS&SB) join the line at MP CD 487, the Amtrak Kalamazoo Line at 482, South Shore Freight at MP CD 463, the Canadian National at South Bend, and the Grand Elk Railroad just east of Elkhart. For items included in this route, we should see a D-940CW, ES44AC, AC44C6M, and an SD70M-2. For switching operations, for sure a GP60 or GP40-2. An assortment of freight cars, most importantly rolled steel cars, bulkhead flatcars, double stack cars, auto racks, open gondolas, and two-bay hoppers all in NS liveries. For Amtrak, P42DCs, Horizon and Amfleet coaches and cafes for Wolverine and Blue Water services, and Superliners in sleepers, coaches, diners, and lounges for the Limiteds and Pere Marquette. Also, the new Viewliner baggage cars. I have attached a few photos and links.

An ET44AC could be a great loco for this route.
