The NS Chicago Line is a major east and west route formerly owned by the NYC, this route is what started my interest in trains. The Chicago Line is a long line stretching from Chicago, IL to Cleveland, OH. I think it’d be cool to see my part of the Chicago Line I live on from Elkhart, Indiana to Toledo, Ohio. It’s roughly 130 miles (209.2km) so I’m not sure if thats to much. But I think it’d be really cool to see one of my home lines in TSW.
Modern era w/ NS rebuilds (SD40-2 Admiral Cabs, AC44C6Ms (including special units and TAG Heritage), SD70ACCs, SD70ACUs, ECO units), GP60s, ET44ACs, ES44ACs (Conrail unit needed), NS Heritage Fleet SD70ACes (including D&H unit), normal NS SD70ACes/SD70IACs, and new SD70IAC NS OCS units Maybe older NS power: GP40-2s, B-32-8s, C40-8s, C40-8Ws, C40-9 "Top Hats," C40-9Ws, and C44-9Ws Also needed for modern route: Amtrak Midwest SC44 Chargers and Venture Coaches/Cab Cars; Metra F40PH-3s, MP36PH-3Cs, and/or SD70MACHs w/ Commuter Cars/Cab Cars NYC in the 1930s-50s would be awesome with Hudsons, Mowhawks, and Niagaras, along with a few early EMD, Alco, FM, or Baldwin diesels.
