Not complaining. 9 skins, 6 new scenarios and timetable subs all for $15. An absolute steal. Nickel Plate and Pennsylvania were my most wanted. But has anything been done to improve the dynamic brakes on the ES44AC?
Why are Scenarios and Skins being created, when Midland Mainline has Scenarios and texture issues that need fixing? And just generally needing a patch?
They just released a new DLC a few months ago, and we've been waiting for promised fixes since then. It's still crashing on Playstation for example.
Good point but HSC had needs too. Actually still has, since the dynamic brakes need fixing. Won’t hold my breath though.
Is it only a livery pack with scenarios included or the route itself updated to TSW3 standard? How about the ES44AC physics? Do the team ported the physics & banking comm capabilities from the CJP ES44C4?
I had hopes for this but I’m pretty sure they would’ve advertised this and given Skyhook a pat on the back in the article.
Where's Conrail? Guessing licensing hell, but still very disappointing Why no other updates for HSC? In addition to bugfixes listed above, how about TOD4 like SH got? Sorry but the US freight content has been dreadful since at least TSW3 launch IMO. Maybe some major upgrades will come in TSW4...
-Was the Conrail unit excluded due to licensing from the CSAO? If so, how was RSC able to use the unit on TSC? -Is there any plans to update the route to TOD4? -Any plans to update the ES44AC to a similar performance standard as the BNSF ES44C4? -Any plans to do a 2nd pack with the other 10 heritage units on the SD70ACes?
My question is regarding the likelihood of these units showing up on AI services. Will it be low likelihood to make them rare/special (best case) or will we have a situation where every time you play HSC, that multiple heritage units will appear on a run? Or you see the same unit multiple times on different trains (worst case).
Why now? With speculation about 4 and all the bugs/broken things in the game I don't see this doing to well!
The commercial revenue vs moral dilemma, releasing revenue generating items and dedicating resource to this and not bug fixes. It will hurt the company in the longer term....
Yes, definitely not a great long term plan for customers, but as a business…..well money talks louder than providing a good customer experience.
Why did you decide to go with half the fleet leaving out Conrail when you could’ve added a whole new locomotive such as the Amtrak P42DC or a new NS locomotive such as an SD80MAC or SD70ACC?
Will you fix the NS ES44AC conductor view? I’m tired of staring at a desk and not being able to see properly on the conductor’s seat
I won’t be buying this anyway but Steam base the Swiss Francs price on the USD price so it gets even further inflated. A £29 DLC costs me the equivalent of £40 at current exchange rates. I now have to wait for a sale, just to pay the normal price. The steam price matrix is a blatant rip off.

You're right, should be about $12.75 according to current exchange rates. But that's been the case for regular dlc's for as long as I can remember. Guess that's something else " you just have to swallow ".
(Just an opinion)This may get deleted but I'll put it out there anyhow I really wish they would put half the effort into US content as foreign dlc i refer to the fact that if they checked the community share page of their own game they would see players have used their creativity and imaginations to re-create some amazing liveries I mean stunning really some of em and these 9 engines are already in the game including the 8098 conrail unit the missing 10th unit from this pack I know NS owns 51% of what used to be contail and csx owns 49% unfortunately if both parties dont agree licensing for a livery wont be possible plus csx just releaseed a conrail heritage gevo they dont want to share the conrail name with anyone else anyway irrelevant so with that said makes this pack unnecessary and once again shows unfathomable laziness for American content another example a previous pack for UP heritage 70 aces players created them too their are some seriously talented painters on this platform i wish they'd stop recreating what we already have and put some actual effort into american content no not engine packs not more lazy copy and paste engine sounds/audio files and horns no more boring passenger services its train sim not foreign passenger sim new US maps with NEW locomotive types not in the game like gp 35s gp40s gp 50s gp 60 sd 45 tunnel motors Sd 50s sd 60s sd 75i's sd80 macs sd90 macs hell some alcos i mean the list goes on if passenger is all they know how to make let's make it interesting like the old saratoga and northcreek line or the Vermont rail system Maybe the Ohio central system ya know lines where freight and passenger are common A break from the Russian German British passenger stuff little more US And the bugs we'll they'll never be fixes crossings not working lighting issues etc tsw4 is already in trouble if after 3 titles yall still can't get your act together...
What do you mean boring passenger services. Lots of the services I've played are quite fun such as those on peninsula corridor, Harlem line and Boston Providence

Agreed at this point in time I am not interested in seeing or purchasing anything Russian route either.
Maybe im alone with my opinion, but i still see skyhook as a dev polluting tsw with botched content. Why? Not because everything is bad what they do / release. Its simply the fact because skyhook doesnt literally give a (s)hit after their creation was dropped into the market. All devs struggle with quality problems, but dtg and rivet seem to care way more about improvemement. Probably the 50. post now, where i remind the cw44 rear bogie on cane creek is looking the wrong way around. Skyhook, your products are actually enjoyable but your "customer support" is beyond pathetic.

Well they haven't fixed that have they? They've also added MML now to the list of routes in major need of fixes and not having patches released for. Feels it's just a huge backlog of broken stuff waiting for fixes, then new stuff comes out.
First off, you need to moderate your language. If you have issues with SHG, then by all means express them in a critical fashion but without the use of expletives. And accusing someone of " polluting " the game is OTT. Second, many players are enjoying Cane Creek, HSC and MML despite the longstanding problems with those routes. Lastly, from what we can gather from Jane and now Adam and Cayne, SHG are working hard at correcting the issues with MML and the older routes. There's certainly no lack of developer/forum communication. I would also point out that I, for one, am grateful that at least one 3rd party is producing North American content during a time when we might be forgiven for thinking that DTG has virtually abandoned that segment of the player base. Actually, this is a Q & A thread, so wrong place for this kind of discussion. Apologies.
