There were a few Class 46s left in 1983 and they were used on passenger and freight workings across the Pennines. 45/0s would have been around too. Knowing nothing about programming, my simple knowledge tells me these might be easy wins to add by modifying the 45/1 already in place. I guess 45/0 is simply ETH jumper/switches removal and from there, the 46 maybe some change in traction characteristics? Nameplates (where fitted) would be a nice touch too!
