I'm having trouble with the NTP Rescue Run scenario in TSW4. Ran the 45 from Holbeck and coupled up to the 47 at Leeds OK, handbrake off on the 47, all objective stages ticked OK, departed fine. Only when I started approaching the Dewsbury stop did I realise I had no train brakes at all: just the straight brake which, unsurpisingly, didn't stop me! Wondering what I did wrong? Both locos were set to 'Air Brakes - Passenger'. Spoon brake levers set to 'Neutral / Shutdown', which was as I found them. Any advice / pointers gratefully received.
Well, I tried again today, only this time I decided to reverse from Holbeck MPD to Leeds, rather than change ends twice as I did yesterday, and as would happen IRL. This seemed to work as the brakes performed flawlessly after coupling, and I was able to complete the scenario.
