I noticed some of my routes are stuttering a bit so I tried to change my Nvidia Setting but the System says Access Denied I ran the Nvidia Control Panel as Administrator but again it won't let me save the settings after altering them Any ideas please? Peter
Peter, can you try doing a re-install of your drivers. This often happens after a Windows update. If that does not work, try DDU (https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/) and reinstall. Are you using Geforce Experience or the "new" app?
I'm just in the process of installing the 572.70 version to see if that makes a difference I think it is also installing the App Long time since I last installed the Display Drivers
I have had nothing but issues with the Geforce Experience app. Can't uninstall or update drivers through the app. Internet is full of complaints about this. Manually updating drivers fails. Stuck at driver version 560.94 for RTX3060 12 GB card. UPDATE: Persistence pays off. I downloaded the new driver, uninstalled the current driver with the Device Manager and did a CLEAN install of the new driver. This also installed a new version of GeForce Experience. One thing is that you can not optimize Railworks, Railworks64, or the DX12 version in the NVIDIA app, they are not supported in the app. You must use the NVIDIA Control Panel to set 3D settings. Current driver is 572.83. At this time I can not see any advantage of using the NVIDIA app for TSC It seems to be good for other games that can be optimized through the app.
Thanks for the info regarding the App and I will remove it. I have not had the GeForce Experience on my computer for some time as it just nagged to do things.
