Today, I am making a suggestion for the 7 Line of the New York City Subway. More information can be found in the video below: The 7 Line is an isolated line in the city, making it easier for DTG to develop. It also has some unique service patterns and is extremely frequent, giving more playability to this route. Lastly, the Rolling Stock (R188) is a great piece of rolling stock with some AMAZING Traction Motors. TSW 2 needs more Subway Routes, especially some from NYC, and I think this would be a great addition to TSW!
If the NYC Subway comes to TSW 2, I’d like the 7 line to be featured first. It’s relatively self-contained, has some interesting views of the city and a nice mix of above and below ground sections.
Can I make a suggestion about your suggestions? I think it would be a better idea to write the suggestions and add pictures and links to external sources, in the traditional manner for the forums, if you want people to support the suggestions. Most people won’t watch your video and if they do, they will only watch it once, and it makes it difficult to refer back to any specifics if you just say them in a video. I don’t see how liking your video, as you suggest right at the start, would help get the route made. The imagery doesn’t match anything you are saying, mainly being gameplay of unconnected routes. If you’ve written a script for the video, just post that here with some images and any relevant links and that would help everyone to see and support your suggestions. Cheers.
I do it in video format to support myself (on my YouTube channel) and I post that video here on the forums for DTG to see easier. The liking thing at the beginning is only for viewer engagement on YT. If you compare some of my previous suggestions to my newer ones, you’ll see that I’m adding more text to them for people who don’t want to watch the video, but I do find it a little tedious to include all of the pictures in these as well, considering that I’m now doing 2 suggestions per week. According to YT Studio, about 25% of the views on my suggestions come from external sources, here and Reddit. 15% of that 25% comes from the forums. People do watch these videos, it just seems like they don’t comment or like it here, but they do engage with my content on YT. Also, I can’t go out to get videos of certain routes. I’m constantly working to get better with these suggestions, but it is a long process. To me, these suggestions are more of an “Audio” thing. I view it as something someone can just listen to while doing something else. I know that all people don’t view it like that, which is why I’m working to make the visuals better. I do appreciate the feedback on my suggestion. Thanks.
The 7 train should be the first nyc subway line. DTG would only have to make one train as well and add the cbtc and ato in which you can turn off. Plus you pass by some amazing nyc landmarks
You can only turn off ATO. CBTC can be ran in ATPM mode (Automatic Train Protection Mode) or something like that. Just like the QBL with the E/F Trains, the operator can take over.
