Information The Q Line is a part of the New York City Subway. It runs between 96 St - 2 Av in Manhattan to Coney Island - Stillwell Av in Brooklyn. Trains must stop at the ‘10’ or ‘S’ stop marker at the end of the station. The Q Line is about 15 miles long and has 29 Stops during the day and 34 stops during late nights (12 AM - 5 AM). The Q Train runs Express in Manhattan and is always Local in Brooklyn. This line runs in a mix of different environments such as, Open Cut, Elevated, And Underground, this line also goes across the Manhattan Bridge which leads to beautiful views of the city. It is based out of Coney Island Yard in Brooklyn. Q Train Map Rolling Stock The Q uses R46 and R68 subway cars. They run in 8 car formations (4+4). The conductor (Person who controls the doors) is always in the 5 car. R46 R68 The Train Operator does not control the doors on this line. There should be a new mode introduced with this route (if made) to only be a conductor. The conductor is in the 5 car and must point at a Black and White striped board in the middle of the platform to show that they are paying attention and that the train is fully in the station. Conductors must look out of the window for 75 Ft while the train is departing the station. Notable Locations Coney Island - Stillwell Av Station Coney Island Yard View from the Front Window of a train going across the Manhattan Bridge 72 St - 2 Av Station It would be a treat for Railfans to see this route in TSW 2 as it has great views, multiple stations, and great rolling stock.
The Q line Definitely would be my number 1 pick first line to be made. I love it’s rolling stock With the Amazing R46s and the R68/A That it currently it uses today I truly would love to drive those two fleets TSW2 they would look beautiful.
Oh wow really I never knew that but to like how it sounds and it’s howling in tunnels making massive noises
Me too I do love the Q train line it gets to Brooklyn very quickly it only have 5 express stops between 57/ 7av to Canal st it takes at least 10mins.
Not bad. Future extension to 125th in East Harlem, soon. You should add additional stations along the Montague branch including city hall & court st.
The Q doesn’t normally run along the Montague branch since it runs across the Manhattan Bridge and goes through the DeKalb Av interlockings in order to run along the Brighton Line. The 125 St extension is unlikely to be completed in the next 15 Years because everything takes mad long to construct in NYC .
