I was on the Gatwick Express, first time. I took off that Stop Hand icon that keeps coming in my veiw, but as I got close to the station I saw the yards lessoning I slowed right down but got no Green highlight on the track to stop, this threw me then the yards increased again. Then after a few more yards got the Objective Failure. I could have stopped at that last station but as I said no big green highlight so carried on, is that because I took of that Stop Hand icon? Hope this makes sense. Col.
Not all services have those green outlines, lately it's a bit hit or miss whether they do or not. I've never turned the stop hand off so I wouldn't know exactly, they might be tied together or they might not. But I know I have seen occasions where the green outline disappears but the stop marker remains, this is always the case in Free Roam for example. So best bet is to just keep it on.
Thanks, it is the first time I was on this route plus I'm fairly new to the sim, I kind of got the screen now how O like it, changed the hud as well. It was that icon moving about and sometimes blocking the view that put me off it was annoying me a bit, so I managed to hide it. Shame as I was doing well on the route till that happened, as I say I'm new to this but even if I arrive late I'm still pleased with myself I got there OK. Col
London Commuter really is a fun route, still to this day I believe it has the busiest timetable, and one of the best. Up there with Blackpool Branches and Southeastern High Speed, once you have all the content that layers into those.
Unlike TSC though, you will not necessarily fail the scenario or run if you miss one of the objectives.
