Hi everyone Fishing Sim World launched just over a week ago now and since then you’ve been providing us with fantastic, constructive feedback on your experiences playing the game. The overall sentiment has been very positive, and we are grateful for that but it is clear that there are a number of bugs that need fixing and improvements to some areas of the gameplay that can be made. We are working hard to reproduce the issues you’ve reported to us and putting together our first post-release update for Fishing Sim World. As well as the fixes and improvements, there will also be new gameplay features. Full release notes will be provided but highlights include: Bluegill added to Lake Johnson and Lake Boulder Walleye added to Lake Boulder Ability to unlock all achievements Option to invert x and y axis Fixed crash at the end of single player tournaments Fixed endless loading into live tournament events Ability to mute other players in multiplayer Ability to switch from driving the boat to fishing in multiplayer Fixed timer disappearing in live events Fixed boat spawn positions on Lake Johnson Fixed bank sticks occasionally floating Fixed fish getting stuck behind jetty Fixed ‘show top’ button when viewing leaderboards Dovetail Live t-shirt and boat for signing up to / logging into Dovetail Live Increase the length of time of the fight for bass species Reduced the frequency of bites on European venues Option to turn off the HUD when fishing Currently, our development team are working hard to identify and reproduce the issues that are being reported to us. Our process is reproduction of the issues, then fixes for each. We then test the game to ensure that the issues have been fixed correctly, before submitting the latest build of the game to our console partners and finally releasing the update to you. This process will take a few weeks to complete but we will provide you with weekly updates on our progress. *PC Only – We are launching a Beta programme very soon which will enable us to get your feedback quicker, allow the development team to communicate with the community directly and help get updates to PC and console quicker. Full details on how to sign up to this Beta programme will be posted on our website shortly.
