So, I was looking at the official routes through the PC editor and found that all of the origins are far away from the actual route (unlike with older routes), which makes me wonder if DTG is plotting something.

    Antelope Valley (N34.4983 W117.5548)
This location appears to be on a mainline from Lancaster to San-Bernardino, which is pretty far away from what we've got in the end but at the same time shares one of the end locations.

    Voralberg (N48.7443 E11.4384)
Once again, it's pretty far off. This time directly over Ingolstadt Hbf, which is arund 180 km from Lindau and not anywhere near the direction of our route.

    ECML Peterborough - Doncaster (N51.5233 W0.6815)
Located between London Paddington and Reading, this origin would be ideal of a new version of the GWE rather than what we got in the end.
