So I just remembered something I read 1.5 years ago, and luckily I had saved the link somewhere: The Edinburgh-Glasgow timetable included with Skyhook’s ScotRail Class 158 add-on makes use of a specific Creators Club livery on the layered GWR HST services, turning them into ScotRail Inter7City HSTs all of the time (instead of just randomly like normal Creators Club liveries): https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/edinburgh-glasgow-feedback-thread.72258/page-6#post-950141

Does anyone know of other examples of this feature/mechanic being used by developers? :D

I can't say any others spring to mind :(

I do think it would be good if some did though, it would really add more to the route. Actually come to think of it, does the Crewe-Birmingham route do this? It has DRS and Freightliner 66s in there, not entirely sure if they were there by default.
