Would be really nice to see omsi 2 on console. We have no real bus simulators on console so it would be nice to see.

The Bus should be coming at some point. That would be the best and only option for a decent bus sim on console.

In the meantime there are the bus stop services on SEHS and Goblin for people to 'enjoy' on consoles! ;):D

Bus Simulator 21 isn't particularly horrible if you ignore the flaws that is... Its got 2 maps and plenty of busses to drive. But it can get a bit boring over time with only 2 maps available.. both of them completely fictional.

OMSI 2 has been abandoned by the developer and publisher for some years now, other than getting money off residual sales on Steam. So a console version is unlikely. It probably wouldn’t port well as I can never get it to work properly with a joypad on PC (no analog response) so end up accelerating and steering with the mouse which is hard work, particularly with my neuropathy.

The Bus is too arcadic and not realistic in terms of physics, speed . The OMSI is the real bus simulator in all aspects

Some people in the ETS community speculate about a possible bus DLC at some point, given the fact that SCS is suspiciously well modelling bus stations in the new overhauled cities; IIRC there already were ones in cities before they got remodelled.

Another speculation is having ETS on consoles one day, which is not that far off, being a very successful game on PC with loads of active players since years.

If I were someone in charge, the investment in a console development of ETS/ATS does not seem like the worst decision ever. Of course it would mean that mods probably aren't usable - in the same way as in TSW on consoles - but it could be a nice experience nonetheless I think.

But all of this is highly speculatory and things need to turn out very fortunately for console players, so that we'll see a bus DLC and on consoles for ETS one day.

As Vern said, the chances of such a good, but abandoned old game coming to consoles is 0.0%

It's living from community content that's only possible on PC, allowing file manipulation.

The Bus looks great from what I’ve seen. Based off a 1:1 Berlin too.

That is only a picture, meanwhile driving simulation in The Bus is very poor in all aspects. The Bus is not for simmers.

Yeah it is a good game, wish they still updated it though, as you said there is definitely some issues that still needs fixing though. Everytime I pass a tram I get fined €5k for overtaking! ‍
