It would be interesting to have a day where all dlc are free for that day only and to keep those dlc for life On all platforms
Somehow I think not. However I do think older and poorer quality DLC should get a permanent price reduction after so long. Slightly ridiculous that the ancient and very poor Rapid Transit still sells at £25 outside any sale offers.
They will never do that. Do supermarkets have a day where they sell everything for free? If they did, they are taking huge financial losses and even some chaos because people wouldn't be able to control themselves. Dtg are a business and need money to survive so making everything free won't happen
The part in bold could happen - maybe not every DLC but a random few. The second part (keeping it forever) is never happening. Dovetail would effectively commit commercial suicide (by nuclear bomb) with that.
I didn't miss it, but yet again no free routes or even discounted ones on xbox. We always miss out with Microsoft!!! They always spoil the party. Still I am grateful to Microsoft for their points system at least I can get five free routes a year.
Not bad at all, but with one or two dlc, they have released for free last year for at least one month the LGV route, hope there are another possibility to release another route for free for limited time
I do think all dlc's being free for a day would be a good promo thing for dtg to do to let players try them out and see what they think and then they can decide which they'd like to buy afterwards.
They did give away the game to Epic players when it first came to that store and more recently gave away the LGV route to anyone who wanted it when they were acquired by Focus, who are a French company, but those are the only times I know of. It’s not out of the question that some things may be given away in future promotions but it would be a bit much to expect everything to be free.

I second what others have said. DTG may run a promotion on an addon which can be obtained for free and users can keep that addon, like with the LGV route. I also don’t think it’s completely out of the question for TSW to maybe return to Xbox game pass and have a free trial weekend for a selected addon (I believe this was done previously with LIRR back in TSW2?) But allowing all DLCs to be free for a week and allowing users to keep them as a permanent addition rather than a trial just wouldn’t be financially viable for DTG.
