    Hello
Im hoping to get a reply from dovetail as ive tried Twitter, Facebook wont send, customer service ticket doesnt work so hopefully here.

Please could you explain to me how those who have got the original tsw only get an update.

When we bought the original tsw we got 3 maps being northeast Corridor NY, Rapid Transit and Great Western Express with a CSX loco if you got deluxe.

On the new Tsw 2020 i have read on dovetail tsw 2020 out now that they get 4 maps if they get normal 2020 being long island railroad, Northern Trans-Pennine, Main l Spessart Bahn: Aschaffenburg-Gemunden and Great Western Express. With 2020 deluxe version also the brand new map.

So please could you explain how the 3 maps and CSX loco on the original/deluxe tsw with just an update is fair compared to tsw 2020 that gets 4 maps already has the update and if deluxe the brand new map

TSW 2020 is an update for the core game. You won't get any routes or locos. You'll keep the ones you have already purchased. It adds a new feature called Journey Mode.

TSW 2020 just has a new bundle you can buy. You can get the 4 routes cheaper (+ 20$ for digital deluxe edition).

    Now to your question.
If you bought the old TSW and didn't buy any DLCs in this time, then you can buy TSW 2020 normal bundle or deluxe. You don't just get an update. If you bought some DLCs in this time then you can get the new ones separately.

    Hope this helped.

Wouldn't that work out costing us more buying them individually then as the game. I already have northern Trans-Pennine. Also if we bought the new one since we already got the original will nec and rapid transit transfer and any already bought transfer on to the new one or do we have to buy them all again

What you have bought stays of course with you.
Depending on how many routes out of the new bundle you already own defines how much you save.
If you already own HH, GWE and NTP buying the Standard Edition of the new bundle will give you LIRR and MSB for 29,99$. That would mean you get 2 routes for the price of one.
