Every time I open up the game my computer is running fine gpu and cpu utilisation is quite low and I can access the menu fine. However as soon as I start up any sort of scenario or academy my gpu 3d graph spikes and my game crashes. My cpu is unchanging when this happens and my RAM is fine. Any clue on how to fix PC Specs: Intel i5 3750k 3.40GHz (Quad Core) GTX 1060 6GB 16GB RAM 112 GB SSD
If you take a look in the Technical Reports section of this forum the point you raise is covered (in the first thread on the page) in depth. It is not actually an issue concerning memory at all it is about conflict and this is explained with solutions.
What is a 112GB SSD? Your Hard Drive must have more than 112GB? Specs for the game are Storage: High Performance SSD Recommended with 40 GB or more available space (Additional Add-Ons will require more)
-Update- I have constantly tried running routes until one time I managed to do a run from Euston to Milton Keynes fine. Then I tried to play again the best day and the same problem has occurred I do have a hard drive that has 200gb free but it is a lot slower than my ssd which only has 20 Gb free. I also managed to open Birmingham cross city once and then it crashed after I tried to play again later.
If you run a resource hungry route and then another it can cause a crash or a lot of stuttering. I was doing some test runs and although the first two were ok the third starting stuttering is areas with a lot of assets. I'm happy to close down TS22 and re-open it if I'm running a number of different routes.
