Hello, I recently reinstalled Train Sim World 5 on my PC. I have now encountered a problem where on Startup the game gets stuck and VRAM usage starts going up. I have 8GB of dedicated VRAM and 16GB of shared RAM. I even deinstalled some DLC's, however I still have that Issue. Does someone maybe know what I do wrong. I use PC Mods, however those are the same as before the reinstall and it worked before. Thanks for any help!
I think having lots of mods installed (rather than an issue with a specific mod) can sometimes cause that, you could temporarily disabling any you aren't using and see if it works then. Hopefully the big modding and optimisation update will fix the issue, but we don't know when that is coming yet
Sadly after deactivating all mods, it still is broken. I might try to redownload the sim, but that will take a long time as I have over 250 GB of add-ons and slow internet.
Have you made any engine.ini changes alongside the mods you had. I made a mistake with some changes a couple of weeks ago, using the settings I have on my desktop on my laptop and that caused unreal to dump when launching the game.
I'm not aware of doing any changes. Though I have noticed that I missed a mod because it didn't show up in mod manager. Sadly the reinstall is already happening, so I cannot test right now itf it works.
