Hi all... does anyone know if it it possible for TS to provide an output for an external source??? By that i mean would you be able to theoretically connect an external speedo and it display how fast you are travelling in TS??? Eric
Yes, you can use the raildriver dll interface for that. See f.i. https://rail-sim.de/forum/filebase/...aildriver-and-joystick-interface/?fileID=4287
BeenTrain... Had a look through it but it seems awfully complicated... i have no idea about programming with c+... Can you offer any further advice???
Third rails can show your progress on a map and includes a speedometer. I have it set up with Spacedesk as described in the video linked in this thread from the Steam forums using my iPad as a display: https://steamcommunity.com/app/24010/discussions/3/5691968038971424882/ Third Rails is at https://www.thirdrails.org/ I don't use the speedo' because I usually drive with the HUD on but think it should share the same screen as the map. Hope this is helpful.
TrainSim-Matt uses some small led screens within a custom built panel which show various things like speed and so on, he would be the best one to reply to you (that I know of anyway), so I've tagged him in this post for you.
Eric Eric this was posted on steam in 2016 maybe useful? https://steamcommunity.com/app/24010/discussions/3/496880503075814457/ and https://www.fipgauges.com/index.php?cPath=51 showing what you ask is possible. pH
