I’d just like to say the team in charge of the Overhead Line Equipment for SEHS have done an absolutely stunning job at recreating what it looks and feels like in game. So many different types of unique OLE assets have been used, in the appropriate places and on the appropriate lines. As a regular user of London St. Pancras, I can safely say that this is 95% spot on and looks exactly how it does in real life. A big step up from our first AC routes for TSW, where generic OLE assets were used everywhere and anywhere. If you’re a regular user of your local electrified line, you’re probably used to seeing a particular type of style of OLE used on that line. Which is why it is so important to get this right when building routes, as it gives it that ‘feel’ to it. Looking forward to what our next British AC route could be, with hopefully further improvements down the line (no pun intended) *cough* neutral sections please *cough* Great work all.
Totally agree, dtg is clearly going in the right direction when it comes to details. Same for the uk brake system. With the new mfa & kfa rhtt wagons you can use the levers and vent the valves etc. Its a real progress for people like also yard work, shunting and static stuff.
I hope the WCML gets done one day, as it has by far the most variety and best looking OLE infrastructure in my opinion.
Looks almost like the real thing. One of my friends see me playing tsw not so long ago and thought it was a youtube video of real trains.
Yes that the OLE is definitely something which can't be faulted in TSW3 and looks really smart. Well done DTG!
I’d love to see neutral sections in TSW, along with substations etc. There’s something quite interesting about seeing the OLE connect to the grid, with the wires feeding to massive pylons.
For Substation you can see them on Main Spessart Bahn the Gemünden Riesa-Dresden Riesa Gbf the West end towards Leipzig East Coastway Lewes area and Ruhr Sieg Nord. Stand close to one in game you hear a 16.7hz humming Sound. Definitely agree with your proposal
